How's that crow taste?

I used to post here years ago. Like 7-8. I couldn't remember my login information so I created a brand new account.
I've been a SAHM, WAHM and WOHM. For the last three years, I've WAH exclusively as a freelancer.
About two years ago, I experienced my first-ever SAHM criticism IRL. My husband had a work function to attend to out of town; the wives came along for the legendary after party. During the course of this day, I must have mentioned something about work in front of one of the younger, child-free wives. She blurted out, "Oh, you work? I thought were just a SAHM!" From that moment on, she warmed up completely to me.

Hope your week is off to a good start.
the flip side is the SAHM who relishes every single minute of time at home with child then comes to find out how little that means in later years, Lol.
So, it's official: the woman in question posted to FB last week, "I am now a SAHM!"
Immediately, her co-workers responded with questions about not coming back to work. They were confused. Why would anyone want to SAH?
We have a large sports venue in town that hires thousands of temporary workers for a handful of weekends throughout the year to work in food/vendor booths, sell programs and tickets, and clean up the place afterward. I've never done it though I know it pays pretty well for what it is, not to mention an exciting place to be for a day or two.
