I havent read all the replies, but if you're a SAHM who is "raising your children" unlike us WOHMs, why arent you busy giving them all of your attention? Pot, kettle, potayto, potahto...
Also, people are in different time zones, work different hours, and have various types of jobs. My job, for example, requires me to be online and internet usage is the norm at my place of employment. There are sites that are blocked, but iVillage is not one of them.
In addition, I happen to be extremely good at multi-tasking. For example, I am scheduling students left and right AND debating. And when I run reports, I am literally unable to access any other computer systems except the internet, so...I suppose I could just sit there for an hour and watch a report run, but I'd rather have some intellectual stimulation.
Let's see, you create an accusatory post about WOHMs and then you post this little gem: "the rest of my life is none of your business as far as i'm concerned."...

for your info i am up every day at 5 am,i do not spend every waking moment on the computer as some of you might.i am taking care of my child who is in full view at all times because my pc is in the dining room.i teach my 3 year old her numbers and letters,play games
