"I just don't want to work"

Hi all... I'm new to the board and I am curious.

I am in my mid twenties, unmarried, no children. I work in an extremely competitive field with many other women my age. Many of us are making six figures and the job is very stressful. We all have a great work ethic, but sometimes when the stress gets really bad, I'll often hear the girls (never the guys) saying things like "Arrgghh... I'm so sick of work. I just want to marry a rich man, have kids, stay home and NOT WORK."....... I was raised by two working parents (two very loving, caring hardworking parents). My mother was very successful in her career, and I feel that when I get married, I will (like my mom) continue to work and raise children at the same time (my mom was definitely "super mom" ---she did it all and was great!)...... My main question: many of the women in my work stay in the position for about 5-7 years and then leave.....the funny thing is...

LOL! In Morgantown, it's furniture. Couches seem to be the favorite. They burn really well. And if you stack them up, the flames will even engulf power lines.

Merella, that is Highway 17 and I drive it every morning at around 6:00 am (so light traffic which keeps anyone from speeding). It is pretty crazy, but I am used to it. I work in Cupertino so I know the area you are describing. There are

It is utterly repulsive. Here is a guy who can buy whatever he wants and he has fake Louis seize chairs made that are bigger than the real ones, so he has the look but with more comfort. Made me ROFLMAO.

Yes, I think we are all pretty much trying to tell you that a yellow door would not make us think anything was wrong with the homeowner.

Hee hee! For years there was an area out near DJ that was pretty rural but backs up to our highway, well overlooks it from atop a hill. The locals there hauled a couch out every year & sometimes when passing by you'd see a group out there watching the traffic.

Hey! I think I know who you are! Did your husband used to work for a company called Grunnings that makes drills, and didn't your son used to attend Smeltings?
