"I just don't want to work"

Hi all... I'm new to the board and I am curious.
I am in my mid twenties, unmarried, no children. I work in an extremely competitive field with many other women my age. Many of us are making six figures and the job is very stressful. We all have a great work ethic, but sometimes when the stress gets really bad, I'll often hear the girls (never the guys) saying things like "Arrgghh... I'm so sick of work. I just want to marry a rich man, have kids, stay home and NOT WORK."....... I was raised by two working parents (two very loving, caring hardworking parents). My mother was very successful in her career, and I feel that when I get married, I will (like my mom) continue to work and raise children at the same time (my mom was definitely "super mom" ---she did it all and was great!)...... My main question: many of the women in my work stay in the position for about 5-7 years and then leave.....the funny thing is...

And here's the nutritional info... 8 grams of fat in 22 pea pods sounds like deep fried to me.

Those things are disgusting.
Really?
I just did.
My ex's daughter's second DCP was that bad at her job, too, but it was still a favor to the family that she was, because her inability to cope led them to finding a MUCH better provider who *was* able to not just deal with the baby's issues, but was a much better personality fit to the child as well.
I mean, sure you can look at the glass as half empty, but I'd much rather know the DCP was a bad fit. Ironically that same lousy DCP was flat out stunned when my ex's wife told her they wouldn't be coming back. It never dawned on her that 1) they would see her inability as a problem for the DCP and 2) they'd be able to find a MUCH better fit for the daughter. Even more, they removed the child immediately and I covered daycare for her until the new provider was able to begin.

Actually, you can prevent the freezer burn by freezing the veggies immersed completely in water. Blanche and then freeze them immersed. Takes up more room, but the water prevents air from reaching the food. I saw that on Food Network while I was on disability this summer :) We don't have a separate freezer anymore (the one we had was my parents' that they'd bought from Montgomery Wards back when I was in high school)--too much space and too much electricity to run, so now I only have the freezer part of my fridge.
I'm considering a smaller, new freezer, but there's really no place I want to put it in the house--even small ones take up valuable real estate when you've only got 1250 sq feet to play with :) Maybe I should get rid of some of the sewing machines ;)
