"I just don't want to work"

Hi all... I'm new to the board and I am curious.
I am in my mid twenties, unmarried, no children. I work in an extremely competitive field with many other women my age. Many of us are making six figures and the job is very stressful. We all have a great work ethic, but sometimes when the stress gets really bad, I'll often hear the girls (never the guys) saying things like "Arrgghh... I'm so sick of work. I just want to marry a rich man, have kids, stay home and NOT WORK."....... I was raised by two working parents (two very loving, caring hardworking parents). My mother was very successful in her career, and I feel that when I get married, I will (like my mom) continue to work and raise children at the same time (my mom was definitely "super mom" ---she did it all and was great!)...... My main question: many of the women in my work stay in the position for about 5-7 years and then leave.....the funny thing is...

In what universe did a Lunchable become healthy eating? Cuz I'm pretty sure it's not in THIS one....
Also, if the bologna song is anything to go by, it's m *A* y e r. (I tend to side with the song, given that it was written for the company and it would be pretty stupid for them to mispell their corporate name in their own advertising.)

Just being realistic. Being their mom doesn't blind me to their personalities and how they mesh with mine. Especially when it comes to Erica and Dylan. If I had had only Joy and Angela, I could have very well have been one of those obnoxious moms who come on here and state that raising children is a breeze and a no-brainer.

Erica was 5 before I started liking her. It was all worth it now that she is an adult. But she will still argue that the sky is orange if you say it's blue. Only now it's for the fun of the argument instead of being outright contrariness. As a child, the word "no" didn't exist. If I said that we were going to store A, C, F, E, and D, I had better be sure that that was the exact order we did the errands. And no way could I sneak in store B into the mix. Her whole world would disintegrate. She had to have rigid order in her world in order to function.

Sounds like she's getting Alaska confused with the mountainous regions of Bavaria. I can see how that would happen--they're both in foreign countries, right? ;)
