"I just don't want to work"

Hi all... I'm new to the board and I am curious.
I am in my mid twenties, unmarried, no children. I work in an extremely competitive field with many other women my age. Many of us are making six figures and the job is very stressful. We all have a great work ethic, but sometimes when the stress gets really bad, I'll often hear the girls (never the guys) saying things like "Arrgghh... I'm so sick of work. I just want to marry a rich man, have kids, stay home and NOT WORK."....... I was raised by two working parents (two very loving, caring hardworking parents). My mother was very successful in her career, and I feel that when I get married, I will (like my mom) continue to work and raise children at the same time (my mom was definitely "super mom" ---she did it all and was great!)...... My main question: many of the women in my work stay in the position for about 5-7 years and then leave.....the funny thing is...

me sending my daughter to a Catholic School has everything to do with it being the right school for her -- and absolutely not one thing with the public schools.
you haven't read the whole thread to know what part of California someone lives in
Yes. We. Did.
Sigh. I know you don't live anywhere near the Addams family house. What I meant was that it's ok to live near the Addams family house (as I do). It doesn't much matter.
And believe me, I know that Ben Affleck has family in Boston. It's impossible to live around here and not know that. He's the local pet celebrity along with Matt Damon, both of whom grew up in Cambridge. But he has spent a considerable amount of time here recently to film his movie "Gone Baby Gone". Far more than he usually did to visit his parents on Thanksgiving (an event which our local pretenders to paparazzi always did manage to photograph and put in the Boston Globe). My point being that if he walked past this house (being as he's in town and all) he might decide to use it as a backdrop for a horror movie because it just looks THAT MUCH like the Addams family house.
Sigh.
Anyhoo. There are no HOAs here and shrubbery is whatever height the homeowners want it to be. And one house 2 blocks from mine looks just like the Addams family house, although that can't be attributed to its shrubbery. My belabored point being that it DOESN'T MATTER what height people cut their shrubs or even if a house looks like the Addams family house. The neighborhood is still awesome even without a September Vogue sized rule book to enforce what a small number of people envision as the only route to awesomeness.
