i wouldnt want to...

hello!! i have visited this board off and on but i havent been here in a few months. i decided to start this thread with the open ended sentence. for me, i wouldnt want to stay at home 24/7. i love my kids, but i like my job too. its not what i would call a career(i work in a grocery store)but it brings in money and helps pay the bills. but more importantly, i get away from the house, my kids and my hubby. i need that break. especially when my kids are having one of "those" days. i hate having to miss out on fun things-which i do have to do at times. i hate that i cant just say "sure-i can come." i usually have to say "i'll get back to you-i have to see what im working that day..." and if theres something big invovling my kids, i have to request the day off(which isnt awful, but i have to be careful how many i request off because the manager gets pissy about that

Well, I don't have to answer this question now.
Thanks for saving me the keystrokes!

Why hide your light under a bushel of bears, I ask you?

Busy, but it sounds like a lot of fun!
Well. there was a time when I said, "I wouldn't want to be a sahm" ...... In fact, I think my exact words were , "I'll NEVER be a SAHM."
So, I'll try to not tempt fate again. However, I like having the choice to do what is best for MY family. At one time it was ftwoh; at one time it was ptwoh, and now it is ftsah.
I wouldn't want to lose my paycheck
I wouldn't want a long commute
I wouldn't want a less flexable job (ability to work from home pretty much any time it is needed)
No.
I do (or actually, my child does) receive funding from another source, but I don't depend on it to live.
