If you HAD to choose a completely different lifestyle/way of life...what would you pick as your new life? (example...if you are currently living a life on a farm and farming is your day to day life...would you choose to be an artist in a big city?

I have to admit...I know nothing at all about military life.
I KWYM! I joked around that I only missed them because I didn't have someone to unload/load the dishwasher, take out the trash and clean up the dog poop :)
Truth is, I really did miss them for them...but they really do tend to "instigate" a lot of the fights and arguments we have around here. I may have had to do the dishes, but the peace was nice.
I've also noticed, it really doesn't matter which one is somewhere else. Even when there is just one missing from the equation, things all seem much simpler even with 4!!
Okay, so how old are your kids?

Ooooh, I like this premise! Well, I currently live in an apartment in the suburbs of a major city and I'm a PT WOHM (soon to be FT WOHM).
In my alternate life we would have live on a farm. We would own a lovely farmhouse on 50 acres of land, have an orchard, grow food to sustain our own family (potatoes, peppers, tomatoes, onions, corn, peas) and we would have a couple of dairy cows and a bunch of chickens. So as to keep an eye on the homestead, I would be a WAHM teaching classes online.
If we were to hit the lottery big time, that's what we'd do. Plus I would have six kids.
Your life (both of them) sounds great!
Well...currently I am SAHM...following a couple leads with the ideal being pt wohm while the demand for the extra income exists.
my dh grew up with land and if he had it his way,we would be on a farm.
I'd be single and childless, living in the city, spending my extra cash on travel, the arts, taking up new hobbies, etc.
