And your dh made enough $$ to support both of you comfortably, do you think you would be working?

Dino Mountain!!!! He has been begging to go for weeks! Does it cost extra? He is crazy for dinosaurs. I can't wait to take him.

Vent Away! I am so sorry to hear about the tiredness/nausea/indigestion. Although I got lucky with minimal nausea, indigetion is sure to follow if this pregnancy is like my last. That's when my affair with Tums coms in. It's great to hear that the baby is so active. I love the kicking part. I'm only five weeks away from that!

I'll talk to you soon!

please KEEP your "natural" choices -- all the while driving your car, trying to debate on the internet, using your microwave and stove, using those man-made art supplies -- how can you even live with yourself for doing something SO, SO un-natural????

as for me, the choices i've made -- continuing ft-woh, using dc, bottles, cribs -- are irrelevant to raising kids with unconditional love, rules and limitations, consequences when necessary. MY "natural instinct" tells me that THESE are the things that kids need to grow and thrive. The tools of getting there are IRRELEVANT -- as observed by the fact that your dd is NO different than any of my 3 kids in any way that truly matters.

Thanks though for worrying, but my "natural instinct" and "idealism" is STILL intact, even as we're entering the dreaded teenage years with ds.

Not necessarily. Earlier in this thread, you and I discussed Momofhk's credibility, why everyone was continuously questioning her and her having ideals. Remember, I said I'd keep an open mind? I did.

<> Actually, I couldn't possibly insult Jorvia or anyone here. If I see someone mercilessly insult a good debater here, I have no problem critiquing her, and I can't imagine anyone has ever felt insulted by my words. It's very hard to insult a regular here.

<> I don't give too much weight to studies. (I would not have limited the size of my family, for instance.) We all go into parenting with common sense and our ability to weigh the "experts'" opinions. But if I had the means and abilities, I would not knowingly chose second best.

Because leaving them alone while I bring in the only income my household has is illegal.
