And your dh made enough $$ to support both of you comfortably, do you think you would be working?

No, not really. I adored my son and held him all the time, but I didn't mind, at all, sharing him with others. I felt totally secure in my bond with him from the first second, and he was always such a little social butterfly and just ADORED "making the rounds" so to speak, that I didn't mind sharing at all. Had he been fractious or uncomfortable with others (such as my best friend's daughter, who is 11 months older than John and who was so NOT a social butterfly), then I would have limited who held him. But he loved to go to others, especially my ex's former barracks roommates and they used to be so cute about asking if they could "play with John", that I didn't have the heart to discourage any of them. Besides, it's pretty awesome watching people dote on a kid you think is the greatest kid of all time.

Actually, I think the reason everyone keeps questioning her is that 6 million Chinese people can't be wrong...or IOW, maybe the reason EVERYONE questions her is that her arguments are sufficiently weak, they cannot be supported.

I recall one recent post of yours because a man had written in. He said his wife is a sahm, she complains about how hard her days at home with the children are, yet phone bills show she has lots of time on the phone. You responded to the effect that he was being used and deceived. I had to laugh at that one. That's pretty much the life of sahms I know - lots of tedious work, desperate for the minute dh walks in the door to hand the children off to him since the day is so draining, time on the phone is the only mental escape possible short of hiring a sitter. That's a pretty negative stereotype you tapped into. But if you want to state FTR you've never commented on sah on a sah/woh debate board, I'll take your word on it!
