And your dh made enough $$ to support both of you comfortably, do you think you would be working?

Do you really want to be bragging about having an 'orally coordinated' daughter?

Then you have misread me. I don't blane *all* Christians for anti-semitism. And yes, I am well aware that many others who are not Christian are anti-Jewish.

You can read my post far below to TM. I disappeared because I am like an alcoholic when it comes to this board. Being on this board makes me mean, angry, in short, *ugly.* I say things and think things I would never say or think in real life. I don't like who I am when I am on this board for too long. It only takes a post or two before I am spewing out venom. That's not who I want to be. The venom carries over into my real life and it affects my dealings with my family. So I have been working very hard to break my addiction to this board -- indeed, to the computer altogether. Some days I do quite well. Other days, like today, I get sucked in. So I just work harder to find other things to do. With that, I take leave. DS is home today and tomorrow and we both want to go out.

Take care,

I'm sorry I just jumped in on this one...I don't think I could read all the previous posts. :)

I have one child and I'm a SAHM. If I didn't have a child and were financially able to stay at home, I'd want to work. I love being a SAHM but I miss work, I miss earning my own money (though we do consider my husband's income "our" money) and I miss the satisfaction I got from work.

However, my son is 11, so he doesn't need me as much as he did and I'm considering going back to school part-time. I think my husband, however, would love to take a few years off, so maybe we can arrange that someday. He's stressed a lot at this job and we're not sure the money is worth it. He loves his job but I think he would have made a great house hubby! So maybe if I return to work, he can relax more.
