Why do you always have to come up with some derogatory/negative reason that people don't do like you do? We're slower. We're not aware. We're not as smart.
People who don't have the time, inclination or liking for homemade things will never be able to save as much money as people who do, no matter how many coupons they clip. The bottom line is if you want to save money, avoiding convenience foods saves you MORE than coupons. You pay more for convenience, even when you use coupons. So it all depends on what is more important- saving money or convenience. If saving money is more important, convenience foods should be avoided regardless of what coupons they are purchased with.
But if one is *really* looking to save as much as they can, then that's the way to do it.
