OK, remember this is a debate board, and I am going to play devil's advocate here, so please let's play nice.

Most of these people are NOT looking at the nutritional information but just the taste and just know that they like it.

I think you and others are interpreting the same word in a different context. They're not saying that it TASTES nasty. They're saying that it is nutritionally nasty.

So they DO eat junk food but "prefer" to eat "real foods" from "fresh ingredients"?

I think the nutritional failings of boxed mac & cheese are common knowledge, bolstered by the neon orange appearance of the powder. And again, thinking that it tastes good and believing that it is good for you are completely different things.

Do you honestly think many people even bother to look how nutritionally bad some things are? Before I did WW, I didn't look at Nutrition Facts and know how much fat and calories and dietary fiber things had in it. Before I had my heart procedure I never looked at the amount of salt in things.

Unless you have a problem with something, many people just buy things for the taste and not what is in it.

Well since Kraft Mac and Cheese has been out since 1937, I would think that more than not people do NOT think it is nasty :)

Since the company has been making it since 1937, it sounds like there are many people who have enjoyed it for many years.
