OK, remember this is a debate board, and I am going to play devil's advocate here, so please let's play nice.

Prior to getting into the habit of reading the Nutrition Facts, did you think that boxed macaroni and cheese was a nutritious food?

Yep, both of my older kids get this, and my 6yo is starting to get it too.

So why do you think people eat processed foods?

I didn't care. I liked the taste.

So they understand but still sneak candy in their rooms?

So you *were* able to know, without reading the label, that it was not a nutritious food. And you also, despite acknowledging that it was not a nutritious food, ate it because you liked the taste.

Therefore, you are (and indeed have been all along) fully aware that a person can simultaneously consider a food to be nutritionally nasty and consider it to taste good/choose to eat it.
