OK, remember this is a debate board, and I am going to play devil's advocate here, so please let's play nice.

You eat them with bits of skin? I have never tried that and it sounds a bit strange, but maybe I will try it. The other problem is that I do not usually keep butter on hand, so if I am going to make mashed potatoes I have to plan ahead.

We always leave all the skin on our potatoes when making mashed potatoes. They're called "dirty mashed potatoes". It really makes preparation a lot faster, plus there are nutrients in the skin and it's more filling. A lot of people don't like them that way because they have been taught that the smoother the better with mashed potatoes, and obviously having a bunch of skin bits mixed in delivers a much different texture. You actually have to chew your mashed potatoes, lol.

Oh, so I guess you feed them more than just healthy snacks, ones that are made from "real, fresh ingredients"? You let them have junk food and candy and they just leave the wrappers in their rooms because, why?

I know I couldn't do pizza every week for $5. Sounds really cheap to me.

$1 for dough

$6-7 (not on sale) for mozzerella

$1-$2 for a tomato

$1-$2 for olives

Did you eat much American food when you lived in America?

Why? Do you think this is a uncommon meal, especially for kids.
