OK, remember this is a debate board, and I am going to play devil's advocate here, so please let's play nice.

It's not the point that it IS feasible because I am WELL aware that people live on alot less in other parts of the country BUT if you are going to post a "budget" that you claim a "family" could live on in your area, you need to add in ALL the things that are needed to live. If these numbers are correct, how is that person driving to work in a car that is not registered, licensed, insured? That was NOT included in the budget as was cellphones as I know most people have them. Savings was not included either. It seems to live on this budget you have to be soooo frugal and maybe not even paying some of your bills.

I gave you one that included all of these things. Did you read it? What's your take on it?

Ok, well if you think someone has to be not paying their bills on that budget, I can tell you that I pay all of my bills on a similar budget...in addition, I save for college and retirement, drive a 2007 Grand Cherokee I bought brand new, live in a 3 bdrm townhome, pay for afterschool care for DD, pay for parking at work everyday, go out to eat occasionally, bought all of my daughter's xmas presents with cash, etc. etc. etc.

I guess some people are just more financially adept then others. *shrug*

Thanks but on these lists I do not see anything that says for a family, you will only pay $82/month. It is more like $200/month or more.

It was so funny to watch, but painful at the same time. I eventually had to intercede and explain that he's not old enough to understand hypotheticals. Not sure what RLGL's excuse for not getting it is, though.

I wasn't looking for personal info. Obviously you found the numbers for utilities from some public record, correct?
