OK, remember this is a debate board, and I am going to play devil's advocate here, so please let's play nice.

Ha ha :)

I am sure you don't just know frugal people, correct? You don't know anyone who has lived or live on credit for their main bills?

You can work down to the last penny when doing a hypothetical budget as well.

That's great. I am not a hypothetical person though and probably never will be :)

If it really bothers you so much, I am sure you can

Do you? Do you know that the poverty line for a family of four is 21K?

Yes and I also know that people whom others think make alot of money are living on credit for everything because they can't afford otherwise.

I'm not particularly frugal, and I think I know myself. I also know a fair number of people who have made mistakes with credit card debt and other consumer debt at various times in their lives. But because some people use credit cards to pay "their main bills" (whatever that means, debt is debt), doesn't mean all people do or that a family must use credit to live at a given income level.

It doesn't bother me. And I know I could do one for your area if I felt so inclined.

I never said otherwise. I was simply stating that there are people who are making the "median income" in places but are using cc's for their main bills (food, electric, water, gas for their cars, etc.).
