Yeah, no kidding. I often wonder what's the point of coupons - what's the point of saving 50 cents off of a $3.50 bottle of shampoo when it would be cheaper to buy a $2 bottle of shampoo? It makes you think that you're "saving" 50 cents when in reality you're spending $1 more than you need to.

I got black pants, black long sleeve shirt with Gap labels that my son needs for his school play at a thrift for $5 today.

Well my store does double coupons so that $.50 coupon would be $1 so that shampoo would be $2.50. If you don't like the brand on sale, then I can see you not saving anything because you are not happy overall. I tend to use alot of different products so while Suave might be on sale this week and I buy it, I will also buy Pantene that might be on sale next week.
I would say anywhere from $200-$600. I haven't gotten a coupon in awhile as I have been shopping all over lately looking for the best deals.
I get them from the Gap Outlet too so I get more items for my money.
