OK, remember this is a debate board, and I am going to play devil's advocate here, so please let's play nice.

I'm with puss. I'm pretty thrifty, and though I look at coupons every week, it's just once in a blue moon that I find one I can

Yeah, no kidding. I often wonder what's the point of coupons - what's the point of saving 50 cents off of a $3.50 bottle of shampoo when it would be cheaper to buy a $2 bottle of shampoo? It makes you think that you're "saving" 50 cents when in reality you're spending $1 more than you need to.

How much do you spend per year at the Gap?

Whoa! I totally didn't see that post. A person has to spend $200 to save $10? Holy cow, I can think of SO many less expensive ways to save ten bucks on clothing!

I got black pants, black long sleeve shirt with Gap labels that my son needs for his school play at a thrift for $5 today.

I can't remember the last time I was ever in a Gap store. I've bought Gymboree clothing before - from the resale shop across the street (they still had their tags, too!).

I get coupons in mail with my local grocery store ad, in the Sunday paper, sometimes online, with my receipt at the store. Costco sends me coupons in the mail all the time.

Well my store does double coupons so that $.50 coupon would be $1 so that shampoo would be $2.50. If you don't like the brand on sale, then I can see you not saving anything because you are not happy overall. I tend to use alot of different products so while Suave might be on sale this week and I buy it, I will also buy Pantene that might be on sale next week.

I would say anywhere from $200-$600. I haven't gotten a coupon in awhile as I have been shopping all over lately looking for the best deals.

I get them from the Gap Outlet too so I get more items for my money.
