I'm interested how many SAHM and WOHM are on the board. Especially after reading some of the posts for Is this board WOH dominated?
Your right hun.
My day was good. I hope your week end is going well. I'll put the pot on if you wanna pull up a chair and chat lol!
*Praying for my best friend, my Dad*
I respect your thoughts on this in regards to your own family members, and I'm sorry for your loss.
Not everybody would, I think.
If they can provide better care, sure.
But you wouldnt want to be the one to provide the care? They have Pallative care nurses that will come into your home to help you during the day with your child. If your child is Tech Dependant (kept alive by tech means like Bryn was) then they have night nurses to come in 2-3 nights a week.
I guess I just cant wrap my head around you attitude towards parents with special needs kids. You seem to feel that hiring a nurse is all the care that sn kids need. It is not. They need thier parents as much as possible. I can not just hire a nurse and assume that my daughter is getting better treatment then when I am with her.
I am a SAHM of a 16 month old boy. I love being home with him, and although a 2nd income would be great I don't like the idea of putting him in DC. I wouldn't even consider leaving him with a nonfamily member

hi. I am debra. I am a work from home mom new to these boards. I dont know what WOHM stands for!
I also take classes toward my college degree as a registered nurse.
I work from home allowing me to spend time with my children, ages 2, 4 and 6. I work my own hours around their schedules which is the BEST part of it all!
My 4 year old has PDD-nos and my time home being able to focus on her and her therapy at age 2 1/2 until she got into the school system at age 3 was a blessing! Now at 4 she goes to preschool half a day and I get to run my business while she
