I don't believe that children that have parents that work outside of the house are at a disadvantage... I also don't believe that children that have a parent that stays at home somehow benifit.

Hmmm but you are a little picky no? Or should we call it particular? I agree some have a different texture because some are thicker, or have more than one layer like the ravioli and tortellini.

But I could eat meatballs or clams with any particular pasta, I tend to use whatever I have on hand--which extends to my family also, because I'm the cook. LOL But now that I am trying to stick with the whole wheat pastas, there are less types to choose from at my grocery store.

That's it for me, I find that I serve certain kinds of sauces with certain kinds of pasta...it's something in the shape of the noodle and how the sauce clings, lol.


I'm a big fan of penne.

that's funny b/c penne is my least favorite -- it's just....blah to me.... I"d rather have farfalle or shells or cavetelli (mmmm) or even in a pinch rotini (although that's pushing it)
