I was taking a class recently from a well known designer--she is on the design team for a couple of companies, she teaches classes, writes articles, and sells her own creations from time to time online.

She started her introduction by saying "I'm a stay at home mom who also....." and then went on to describe what she does professionally.

it's a pity that you answer with a joke 2 everything.it's not healthy for your dd for you to feel this way. she's young and she shouldn't be made to feel this way.

It's also not healthy to live in a humorless world.

I'm sorry if that's what you think...I never intended to act all high and mighty here. I have just been defending my position as a SAHM. It is my new full time job. I don't go to work anymore, so to me this is my new job. That's all I ever meant to say. I'm definitely not

Ok if I say that working moms are also full time moms, then is it safe for me to also call myself a full time mom?

That's all I've been trying to do. I never set out to be militias or high and mighty in any way.
