How did your household income/potential income influence the number of children in your family? Did you and dh stop at a certain number of kids because you wanted to be able to provide certain things for each child?

Stats can lie. To determine a good or great school, one needs to visit it.
Example:
School 1: Vast majority of children from college educated mother families. Come prepared, have support at home... "the best of everything" 95% of students grade at or above grade level.
School two: Title 1, 75% of children get reduced or free meals. Children are not entering prepared, many speak english as a second language. 75% of students read at or above grade level.
Just by looking at the scores it looks like school 1 is better. Is it?
"I guess that is why my dh's and my credit scores are soooo good!"
I am like you. It is amazing to me how some people pay their bills late and then wonder why their credit scores are a nightmare.
