How did your household income/potential income influence the number of children in your family? Did you and dh stop at a certain number of kids because you wanted to be able to provide certain things for each child?

Why focus on AA? Before, when you were talking about diversity and minority schools, I thought you were looking for schools that had many different cultures and ethnicities.

Now, I think I know what you mean when you say, minority school. You aren't really looking for a minority school, you are looking for a majority black school. BIG difference.

When I worked, I had a fantastic intern from Benjamin Banneker H.S. If we lived in the District I would be tickled pink to send my sons there. http://www.benjaminbanneker.org/

Of crouse, then, they would be the minority.

I have looked for prices for dance studios in my area and I can not find anything. Most of them do not post their prices online so it is hard to find.

Yes, how convenient that you don't live there. Ask if they accept from other districts.

It's really quite difficult for me to take your protestations seriously when you send your children to a school that is 93% white and only 1% near or at poverty line.

You have no idea about the racial diversity of the baseball teams that PKA's children play on. Her kids are very good, they play on competitive teams. I don't know her team at all, but around here, which isn't very far from there, minority children are actually OVER-represented on the elite competitive teams.

What steps are you and your family taking to address the situation of racial and economic inequities in your area?

As I have stated about 2 times before (7 in your number line), no they do not.
