How did your household income/potential income influence the number of children in your family? Did you and dh stop at a certain number of kids because you wanted to be able to provide certain things for each child?

Thanks, although I don't know where this came from since there isn't a link...but that's quite clear, part of NYC is on the island you live on.....therefore at least part of NYC is in your area.

Thanks!

Did you notice the price?

Can you provide a link that shows that same uniform for the price you paid?

Now that I think about it, so was mine. :) But by the time I got there, they had converted the center room into the library.

You mean, it's an example of a competitive dance studio?

Minus is not a verb.

<<The dance studio she has linked us to is an audition studio only so that is not for your average child who is doing dance as an activity AND these kids are most likely living near the city as there are many classes per week.>>

Again thank you....yes it is a link for competitive dance (not recreational!) and shows exactly how expensive competitive dance can be.

<<What is wrong with the programs by her own home? >>

Well.....the first thing is that

Maybe she pays per week because she goes to a different dance studio than you do and it, shockingly enough, charges differently than yours does. Perhaps this dance studio didn't get the memo that it has to charge people the same amount yours does and on the same time table.

<<Sure, if you need to audition and they are training you for broadway, sure it is expensive.>>

Again, that would be an example of a competitive dance school, which can be expensive, which of course was my point.

Did you notice the classes start at 3 years of age?

Links from my area aren't needed, the link from NYC clearly supports my point.
