How did your household income/potential income influence the number of children in your family? Did you and dh stop at a certain number of kids because you wanted to be able to provide certain things for each child?

Then please post a link of a dance studio in your area that is comparable to the one that I posted that is a 60 minute drive away.

It depends on alot of factors. Mine wear their game uniform once a week and the competition uniform about 4 times a season. The season is only 3 months long. So, it's not much wear and tear.

The studio I went too also had competition dancing. They did this every few months and the cost of the classes did not go up for that. They might have had to take an additional class but they were all $36 plus a discount if you take more than one class.

There is a ballet studio in the area, can not remember the name of it for the life of me and can't find it online, that you have to audition to get into the school. THAT I can see the fee being much more.

It's not about friendship. It's about her posting it on a debate board. She gave a school that is not the one her friend's child attended. I was wondering if she had done her research, if she wants to throw it out as an example.

Oh don't even get me started on Kelly and her lack of money management. honestly even though civil unions are legal in NH now it's the biggest drawback i have to marrying her b/c I don't want to take on responsibility for her messes. She has no sense of saving or the concept of delayed gratificiation and convinces her self she 'needs' things -- then gets irritated with me b/c I won't replace the bureau I've had since high school even though the knobs are falling off and it "doesn't match" anything else -- b/c I have WAY more pressing things that need my money! For example the carpen in my condo is horrible -- stained and PINK of all things- -but I dont' have money to replace carpet so I have some strategically placed scatter rugs and I do what I can. Kelly got on her "why don't you replace the carpet bandwagon' the other night and i explained that when my car is paid off next year I plan to bank 1/2 my "car payment" every month for car repairs tha may arise and use th eother half to save for new carpet. The concept of waiting 18 months for this was so foreign to her! LOL

Yes. We. Did.
