How did your household income/potential income influence the number of children in your family? Did you and dh stop at a certain number of kids because you wanted to be able to provide certain things for each child?

I wonder why she pays per week as my dance studio was the 1st of the month as I would figure it would be easier for the bookkeeping. Maybe she pays per week because she is behind and then it costs her more?

You stated that there were many....now there is only one?

Again, what does the number of uniforms ordered have to do with anything?

Most studios have competition classes. It just doesn't have to be a special school. I'd love to see where people have competitions more than every few months because I have never heard of that. Wouldn't you have to have time to practice first and don't know anyone who would take dance that much unless that is all they do.
My original activity statement was about recreational activities for young kids. Not ones who are planning to go to a "fame" dance school.

There are so many dance studios just in my 10 mile radius. I know of one that advertises for auditions. Like I said, I would have to research this, probably in the phone book as I can't find it online.

It is surprising how someone who has never had any experience with a dance studio knows exactly how many times people go, how much they cost and can compare to one dance studio that is in NYC (the most expensive place to go).

i doubt it. you do understand that not every place does things the way the ones you use do - right. at our daycare you can pay by the day, the week or the month. does that mean that those who are paying by the day or week are behind - not hardly, it means they pay in the way that works for their family.
