How did your household income/potential income influence the number of children in your family? Did you and dh stop at a certain number of kids because you wanted to be able to provide certain things for each child?

What a funny question. There are no all-white accredited schools in her county, public or private.

Are you serious? "itching" for a homophobic comment? Why? B.c I so love getting attacked for who I am? I've dealt with them as gracefully as I can in the past adn thought that I had dealt with this earlier in the thread with you with some dignity as well. That's not why I post here. i post here b/c I enjoy the women on this board and I enjoy some of the topics we discussed around working, parenting, savings, finances, college etc. Maybe b/c i have been on the receiving end of homophobia I don't like to see someone else get attacked out of turn for somethign they're not guilty of.

Yes. We. Did.

Almost all-white, LOL. And the 0.4 percent Native American child, I would imagine.

What is the racial make up of the local public schools in her area?

When it started out, I was talking about activities that would involve my 3 and 9 year old. THEY would not be costing me that much and I didn't know that everyone would jump in with these high level activities that kids are into at later ages.

Then post me a link to her school and the prices. I don't want prices from a school that you don't use, I don't use or anyone you or myself don't use.

What is the percentage of the racial make up? Enough with the "representation".

I seriously doubt your private school is more racially mixed than the public school.

My local PS is 93% white. Your point?

What is the need for private school and to have to travel 45 minutes away from your own town to go to an activity?

You made a six figure salary for years and still didn't pay off your student loans?

Some of us stay WOH FT and living in or near the city to have the ability to help our children as much as we choose with the costs of their college educations - that's a big reason why women with preschoolers WOH rather than SAH around here.
