How did your household income/potential income influence the number of children in your family? Did you and dh stop at a certain number of kids because you wanted to be able to provide certain things for each child?

I showed you a link to the dance studio I used for summer classes. There was a price on that. You have shown me nothing in your area but just hearsay from your friend.
When I get a chance, I will look for more studios in my area.

Actually the entire thing started out that she shouldn't count on seeing a 'savings' of $185 a week once her son was done with full-time daycare as there are tons of expenses that could eat that money up. The cost of activities was mentioned as being a 'part' of that $185 but then we moved on to the fact that the activity alone could eat up the entire $185.

Lesson for today: take a long, hard at yourselves. We all want the best for our children. It's okay to admit you want the best. That's why we are here. To hide behind veiled words like "out of the box" and "quality" is deceiving to ourselves and each other.

No, I just get ticked off when anyone is wrongly accussed of things that are way out in left field.

My children are not in baseball and that is why I can't go into details but I do know the leagues and where they practice and play AND, like yourself, have friends and family in these activities who have told me about their schedules.
