How did your household income/potential income influence the number of children in your family? Did you and dh stop at a certain number of kids because you wanted to be able to provide certain things for each child?

"Out of the box" and "quality" are not veiled words. It is your own personal baggage to assume that any given poster must be "running away" from minorities if they go to private school or drive a long way to an activity. This is an assumption you have made based on nothing but your own bias and baggage.

I never said you went into any website and changed the numbers. My point is that you don't even know one thing about that dance studio and you are trying to just post it because the prices were high. I can do the same thing but am not going to as it does not prove anything about my point of what I have paid in the past or what you have said your friend pays. I posted a website that shows how much they charge for summer camp at the same studio we used.

I also never accussed you of racism. Don't know where you got that from.

It's quite simple really. Some people are willing to drive for what they perceive to be a higher quality program.

"I would like to know what she means by quality. And I have a good idea."

No, you don't have a good idea. You have a stereotype which is not applicable, despite how hard you are trying to apply it.

She proved her point which was that dance can be expensive.

Then to me, you don't live in a nicer area than some. I have quality right in my backyard and wouldn't need to drive miles to find it. Maybe that is why our taxes and houses and col is much higher.

By posting a website that she knows nothing about?? I have heard from people who have experienced and gone through these things with their children on this thread and I believe them.

Oh, I know that some people live in a nicer area than me,lol. We do live in an affluent community though.

You do live next door to a child molestor though, don't you? Higher cost of living can't even keep them out of some neighborhoods.
