How did your household income/potential income influence the number of children in your family? Did you and dh stop at a certain number of kids because you wanted to be able to provide certain things for each child?

I would think that with four children and homeschooling you would have to be.

That is great. We have NO problem getting car loans, cc, etc with the lowest interest rate.

"Yes how *does* that work? Particularly if she went to school in CDA (not sure if she did) as its less expensive as a general rule. Regardless, I don't know *anyone* who didnt pay off their college debt in their 20's who made a good living!"

It works because although I said I made a six figure salary; I;

a) only made over six figures for the last 4 yrs of my career; actually 3 since I was on mat leave for 10 months of the 3rd year
b) got my first "real" job (that I would consider a career) when I was 25 and it I believe I made $18 000.00 that year less taxes...I recall my paycheques being something like $685.00 take home every 2 wks. I was a single mom and worked my way up over the next 9 years plus years with only the last 4 being years of six figures....

I didn't make a good living in my 20's and never said I did Myshka.
Side note; I didn't pay towards it for several years.

sorry for the lack of clarity; I meant "x" with "x" being equal to what I felt the total he/she might need would be.

You don't use rounding on your tax returns?
