How did your household income/potential income influence the number of children in your family? Did you and dh stop at a certain number of kids because you wanted to be able to provide certain things for each child?

Yeah, considering that it explains how in the tax form instruction booklets I didn't think it was a big secret.

You mean as a lumpp sum? Yeah, you'd need to be wealthy to do that ... although it would be stupid (tax and otherwise) to do so.

Actually, I don't think you can do that can you? Don't the forms specifically say to round or use whole dollar amounts?
