Hi

I have recently left my job to stay at home with my 3 children. One will be in a preschool and I will have a 2.5 and 5 month old home full time.

I made this move for the fact that it is becoming so stressful to work full time and manage the house and give the kids attention

I assume that going down to P/T wasn't a possibility? As it is, it is difficult to make the adjustment either way. It's normal that you would feel some anxiety about your decision, but you made it for good reasons. I'll be interested to see how you are feeling in 8 weeks when your official leave is over. :)

I left my job to SAH for 14 months when my twins were born (they are four now). I had absolutely no problem getting back on the career track, as I knew I would do this, and stayed in the loop with colleagues etc.

I went back to a larger salary/ comp package and have enjoyed working.

Good luck with your new baby in November. We just had our 3rd and I love having 3 children (we debated about it)

I decided to ask my company if there is a part time position or one with no travel that would fit my situation better. At least this way I will have tried to stay working, since I really do enjoy it. I figured working from home jobs arent easy to find and since my husband works out of the house, I should try and make this work somehow

Thanks for your responses everyone!

At this point, I have absolutely no motivation to return to work so good for you.
