And I chose to go to summer school. I loved learning and the whole classroom experience--as long as I didn't called up to speak. I hate speaking in front of a group. Even if it's people I know.

I was SO bad at math that my poor Algebra II teacher took pity on me and had me WRITE A PAPER on some math concept to try to get my grade up.

I was sort of thinking the same thing. If I have brought up my kids to think that the whole point of learning is to score really, really high on a test, there is something wrong. Luckily, I probably won't have to test that notion......

I took my Algebra II folder at the end of Junior year and literally shredded it shouting "I will never have to take another math class again as long as I live"

The only summer school classes I remember way back when, were drivers ed or classes where someone had to repeat something...but then again, I was way more into the cute lifeguards at the pool and
