Very interesting. Particularly the difference in the middle to upper income kids vs low income.
"I personally feel children need the nurture of their parents and the home," she said. "Those early years, that's when they are bonding to their family. That nurturing, only the family can give that."
I tend to agree.

"If I were to accuse you of lying, I'd at least try to back that up somehow. Can you do the same?"
From post 767:
"What I find inconsistent in your POV is that while you claim to homeschool your kids, when it comes to preschool-age kids you seem to differentiate sharply between preschool and daycare. I've found that high quality daycare can provide opportunities for learning to rival preschools. If you're homeschooling, then my kids in family day care were homeschooling, too."
And you're calling me inconsistent???
BTW, So now family day care is homeschooling, too?
One more sabina.
What is your definition of morality?
We use that to teach graphics, grammar, and themes in popular culture.
That's it?

"If I were to accuse you of lying, I'd at least try to back that up somehow. Can you do the same?"
From post 783:
"Some concepts are abstract and hard to pin down, but IMO there's just no ambiguity here. What I do wonder is what would prompt a parent to claim otherwise. I also wonder what criteria such a parent might apply to homeschooling, since they seem to differ from the most commonly accepted ones. As I said, by what seem to be your criteria, I'm a homeschooler, too."
No ambiguity huh?
So, do you homeschool or not (as clearly you have made claims both ways)?
"If I were to accuse you of lying, I'd at least try to back that up somehow. Can you do the same?"
From post 791:
"What criteria? That's the question, isn't it? Maybe there are no criteria. In that case, I'm a homeschooler, just as you are. No criteria needed."
Why do you think that homeschooling = no criteria?
It's classic, when all is lost in the debate, tangents about religion pop up.
