Very interesting. Particularly the difference in the middle to upper income kids vs low income.

"I personally feel children need the nurture of their parents and the home," she said. "Those early years, that's when they are bonding to their family. That nurturing, only the family can give that."

I tend to agree.

is it that you cant or that you wont answer the one question that would clear all this up - what are you doing that constitutes homeschooling that when the rest of us do it it is not homeschooling? seems to me if you were as strong in your believes as you claim to be that would be a simple enough thing to do - but one would think that if you could you would have already done so.

"A topic you switch to when trying to change the subject?"

Switch to? Trying to change the subject?

Do you mean the topic I brought up in post 809? 100+ posts ago?

"As I said, you've enlightened me. I'm definitely a homeschooler. And isn't it part of parenting?"

Why do you think that all parents homeschool?

"Since I'm the parent doing both the parenting and the homeschooling?"

Again, Why do you think that all parents homeschool?

Faith is personal; "homeschooling" is a word most everyone knows. If we wanted to, we could talk about our faiths and how they differ. If you can, please tell us how what you do wrt homeschooling differs from what the rest of us do.

"If there is no concrete, universally accepted definition of "homeschooling," then what has anyone here said that is untrue?"

Wouldn't the claim that:

EVERY parent homeschools fall into the category of a "concrete universally accepted definition"?
