When I read some of the post on this board isn't the whole SAH vs. WOH all about making the best of the situation at hand?
I realized today that my life is good!!

Why is that? Because of the competition between students or the adversarial nature of the law?
I actually love the adversarial nature of it. That, to me, is more like the competition that goes on with sports. it has to do with a specific goal, it is contained, it is not about comparing ourselves as people, but just competing in a particular forum. I enjoy that kind of competition.
If you mean the competition between students for grades and jobs, I never really felt it.
Although, maybe it was just because I was so caught up in childbearing I was oblivious to all of it. There were a few people who were extremely competitive and drove everyone else nuts, and I never had a problem with them. While I was always disappointed with my performance on exams, my grades were usually higher than I deserved, so I didn't have any reason to resent anyone else. Plus, I leaned toward areas of public interest, so maybe I was surrounded by the less competitive students.
LOL, If I came here for validation, I would have left long ago.
I'm part of society and I think what Stay at Home moms do have value even though I'm a working mom.
Yes. We. Did.
My definition doesn't matter.
And yet there are many many of us who embrace teh different, love our uniqueness, celebrate our commonalities and cherish the differences in others without being rejected or deemed a loser.
Yes. We. Did.
