Men are inept?

Not sure how to make this a debate subject so I will just ramble along and see where it leads us.

One of my major per peeves: The idea that mean are inept idiots who don't know what they are doing without us woman folk to guild them.

I see it from time to time on various forums, ladies complaining that their DH's do every thing wrong (uh, no they just do things differently from how you may have done it).

Do you or have you every thought that your DH needed you around in order to make sure that he does things right?

Yeah, that only works if your DH doesn't dress your 18 month old in a black turtleneck on an 80+ degree day

lol. i only lol because i thought to myself-at least your dh dresses the baby. my dh will let our kids run around in their pajamas all day if were not going anywhere. like i said in my first reply-hes lazy. hes not inept, but he is lazy. lol.

I guess I'm mean, I don't let the kids take food or drinks (besides water bottles) to their rooms. I sure don't have to clean up any red pop up off their floors. I don't even buy red pop or Kool aid or purple grape juice. The kool aid & soda aren't good for them anyway--but when buying juice I take the color into consideration! LOL White grape juice is JUST as tasty! : )

True - just because one doesn't clean much doesn't mean one doesn't know how or wouldn't do it if they cared to.

Once in preschool my dd was served purple grape juice for the snack. She took it but told her teacher not to tell me because she wasn't "allowed" to have it! I never said she wasn't allowed, I just never buy it!

I'm a mean mom too, I don't allow food or drink upstairs, unless it's water.

And see? I see nothing wrong with a child being in pjs all day, especially if they're not leaving the house. Heck, some weekends *I* don't get out of my pjs.

*nods*

I know very well how to clean. I don't have enough time to do it as often as I'd like, though, nor enough money to outsource the job.
