A 2 year old and 17 month old twins. First she accomplished *that* through two surrogates! Wonderful what modern medicine can do.
Anyway, she doesnt work full time, she consults to several companies so is out of the home one full day then a few hours a day on other days. Sometimes for work, sometimes to go to the gym, etc.
She has a full time live in nanny, and two part time nannies. Essentially they always have someone with them and the kids. She feels she needs two to properly care for her three.
I immediately thought of all the comments her lifestyle would elicit from this board.
The day she and I met she had just come from a 2 hour session at the gym, and was then heading off to go do some shopping.
BTW, she's a complete rock star in industry, having 'retired' a year ago after a 30 year career that took her right up to the top of corporate America so she's definetly *earned* her right to do whatever the heck she wants.
But anyway, she feels she is a super hands on mom. I was curious what others would think?

i still dont see how you are more readily available unless you are there when the event occurs. like i said if my child has a problem at school i can be there in less than 10 minutes or am just a phone call away.
i must take it for granted that my kids are eager to tell me about thier day, the good and the bad. now i know they dont tell me everything, they shouldnt, but by being in the schools, knowing the kids and asking questions i tend to be able to keep a pretty good grasp on what is going on.

other threads as well pka? need i hint what you're getting at, my own desire to get my child into the catholic school..just maybe pka? if that is it, my child tested just fine. she didn't qualify because of some silly point/involvement reason than what they should have only based it on.

wts, she would not have tested well or been considered for admission at a more privledged school that is more along the lines of college prepatory. i don't have to provide a link for you to prove my point.......the catholic schools i grew up in and know now versus the more sophisticated, privledged schools are not two of the same. period.

i dont know, the first time i made out with a boy it was at youth group in the catholic church - granted we are not talking oral sex here. but anywhere that you have groups of kids you have the opportunity for things to happen. and my duaghter has been in public school for 7 years now and has never had oral sex at school (or anywhere else to the bestof my knowledge, and since we talk about this often i feel pretty sure i am right). i really doubt that if your child were in public school, or when she starts there that she will be one of the kids having sex in the bathrooms

I agree, there aren't any guarantees. I am pretty certain your child won't be one of the kids in the bathrooms either. I do think oral sex in a PS bathrooms is pretty rare. I wasn't trying to suggest otherwise.
