Militants - are they for real?

Someone on another board posted this link.

It's about Dr. Laura saying that all women should be SAHMs until the child is at least 3 years old.
Whether we're talking about working or staying at home, I can't quite wrap my head around what is going on inside the brains of people that apply the phrase "all women should".
Do you think militants are actually serious, or just trying to get a rise out of others?

You said you had studies.
NO one said you couldn't disagree.
Oh...okay, I guess I can't imagine that "house duties" take up that much time, that one wouldn't want children to learn to do chores aka house duties and/or that the husband didn't also do some sort of "house duties".

I don't think it's a problem to have children in different schools, it only becomes

I can't believe I have to explain this.
Articles or stories by a person when trying to establish what that person has said are acceptable for that reason.
Articles where someone is typing out what their opinion is are not acceptable when trying to prove something as fact.
That's what we do a lot of the times

I was up at 3am with a kid who had a bloody nose.
Hmm, since that wasn't the context of the conversation, I'm not sure why it appeared to be something that it clearly wasn't.

Congrats!

It depends on what one is trying to prove. A study is not needed to prove that Dr. Laura was a working mother at the same time that she was denouncing working mothers. Evidence (such as an article of hers at the time that she was a mother) showing that she was a working mother at the time that she was denouncing working mothers is sufficient.
If a claim is going to be made that being a WOHM is harmful to children, though, then evidence must also be provided to support that assertion. I can write an article saying "Girl Scout cookies are the cause of global warming", but that doesn't make it true and it is not sufficient evidence, even if lots of people also write articles agreeing with me. A study would be needed to provide sufficient evidence for that claim.
