Militants - are they for real?

It's about Dr. Laura saying that all women should be SAHMs until the child is at least 3 years old.
Whether we're talking about working or staying at home, I can't quite wrap my head around what is going on inside the brains of people that apply the phrase "all women should".
Do you think militants are actually serious, or just trying to get a rise out of others?

Exactly and I would also add desire, not every family wants a sahp or see's the purpose of a sahp, their family situation works without having/needing/wanting a parent at home.

I agree. Two people in the same situation financially:
Person A:
To work all week and only have X after expenses, not worth it.
Person B:
Even after paying expenses I still have X left over. Great.
Being financially savvy or wise has nothing to do with luck. You either are, aren't or you pay someone who is. :) The fact that things work out or don't work out, is where the luck comes into play.
