Militants - are they for real?

Someone on another board posted this link.

It's about Dr. Laura saying that all women should be SAHMs until the child is at least 3 years old.
Whether we're talking about working or staying at home, I can't quite wrap my head around what is going on inside the brains of people that apply the phrase "all women should".
Do you think militants are actually serious, or just trying to get a rise out of others?

I'm not sure that "posh" is the right word for it, LOL! We do rent a condo -- usually 3 or 4 bedrooms. we like to find a place with a pool so we have both swimming options. However, due to the cost, we usually only eat out for 2 dinners and 2 lunches. We do, however, splurge and probably have ice cream 4 nights out of the week, LOL!
Unfortunately, it's not looking good for us this year -- as we didn't get the tax refund we had anticipated. We're going to try to do some day trips this summer. Hopefully, Steve and I can scrounge some money together to go on our motorcycle trip in August.

That's true and I know there have been numerous comments about that as well on the subject.

>>I 100% agree that people should not have children if they don't have the resources to care for them.<<
So, you agree with stwinns?
>>I DO NOT agree that the ONLY way to do so is with the husband's income and the husband's income alone.
See the difference?<<
No, because what was being discussed was having enough resources to stay home for at least 18 years or until all you children became adults. At least that is my take is on what stwinns had to say. Finally.me commented you can only plan with the resources you have. So, basically, stwinns is saying if you don't have enough to cover the minor years, don't have children.

"You don't think that it's hypocritical to do something that you tell others is akin to child abuse?
Not if they have children.
