It's about Dr. Laura saying that all women should be SAHMs until the child is at least 3 years old.
Whether we're talking about working or staying at home, I can't quite wrap my head around what is going on inside the brains of people that apply the phrase "all women should".
Do you think militants are actually serious, or just trying to get a rise out of others?

Yes, but nobody claimed that. Many women work because they like working and consider it sensible to work for any number of reasons.
However, even those women, who for whatever reason think that children of working mothers somehow suffer, may find themselves in the situation of having to work.
It's no secret. A man cannot possibly share the same bond a mother shares. He did carry the child for nine months and feel that child grow inside of him. He cannot nurse the child either. Love is different. For someone to state they feel sadness
