Militants - are they for real?

Someone on another board posted this link.
http://blogs.babycenter.com/celebrities/2009/04/12/dr-laura-says-all-moms-should-stay-at-home/?scid=momstodd_20090414_A:2&pe=2U8vYLf
It's about Dr. Laura saying that all women should be SAHMs until the child is at least 3 years old.

Whether we're talking about working or staying at home, I can't quite wrap my head around what is going on inside the brains of people that apply the phrase "all women should".

Do you think militants are actually serious, or just trying to get a rise out of others?

Why should they get any flack at all? Also, what possible difference would the reason why mom works make to the kids?

They don't get much flack, other than from people like you.

Of course you don't. Men are capable of bonding, not in the same way. To think otherwise is illogical and only serves to prove, many woman are disconnected from their infants. That I do find to be sad.

Do you think that there are hand-outs available for disabled kids? Most kids with serious disabilities qualify for some social security (although kids with autism, for example, usually do not). However, I know from my seriously handicapped niece that even if you get the maximum amount of social security it rarely comes close to covering the true costs.

Ok, since you're using the word illogical now, please explain how it's illogical.
