Someone on another board posted this link.
http://blogs.babycenter.com/celebrities/2009/04/12/dr-laura-says-all-moms-should-stay-at-home/?scid=momstodd_20090414_A:2&pe=2U8vYLf
It's about Dr. Laura saying that all women should be SAHMs until the child is at least 3 years old.

Whether we're talking about working or staying at home, I can't quite wrap my head around what is going on inside the brains of people that apply the phrase "all women should".

Do you think militants are actually serious, or just trying to get a rise out of others?

"Ok, since you're using the word illogical now"

Yes. Do you fully believe something is either illogical or logical because you say so?

"please explain how it's illogical."

When you do, maybe I will. Your position seems to lie in the fact that this board seems

It's safe to conclude that working mothers create troubled children if a majority of woman are working.

It's been answered. I can't help the fact you turn a blind eye to the answers I give.

Ah yes, in addition to having no car, phone or internet, we would also have no savings, no retirement, no emergency fund and no college fund for our children. No money for Christmas presents, new shoes, trips to the zoo (as if we could even go without a car here), school supplies, uniforms for any kind of club or sport, etc.

A man can't carry the child, but why should that prevent him from bonding with and caring for the child once it is born? A man can't nurse either, but there is quite a bit more to parenting than nursing, especially once the kid is no longer an infant.
