Militants - are they for real?

Someone on another board posted this link.
http://blogs.babycenter.com/celebrities/2009/04/12/dr-laura-says-all-moms-should-stay-at-home/?scid=momstodd_20090414_A:2&pe=2U8vYLf
It's about Dr. Laura saying that all women should be SAHMs until the child is at least 3 years old.

Whether we're talking about working or staying at home, I can't quite wrap my head around what is going on inside the brains of people that apply the phrase "all women should".

Do you think militants are actually serious, or just trying to get a rise out of others?

There are organizations that benefit specific disabling conditions, and there are probably some scholarships available through some of them, but other than that and SSI, there really isn't much that I know of.

In what way do you think that children of working mothers are "troubled"?

What planning guarantees that a woman will be able to be a SAHM? (And are we talking about being a SAHM until the children are in school or until the children are grown?)

"You will have to complete your chores when the children are home. They will not get your full attention. You will be neglecting them."

Then I must neglect my kids a lot. I'm a SAHM but I do housework when the kids are home, how could I not? I even,
