Militants - are they for real?

Someone on another board posted this link.
http://blogs.babycenter.com/celebrities/2009/04/12/dr-laura-says-all-moms-should-stay-at-home/?scid=momstodd_20090414_A:2&pe=2U8vYLf
It's about Dr. Laura saying that all women should be SAHMs until the child is at least 3 years old.

Whether we're talking about working or staying at home, I can't quite wrap my head around what is going on inside the brains of people that apply the phrase "all women should".

Do you think militants are actually serious, or just trying to get a rise out of others?

I've had my eyes checked so I now it's not that I didn't see your answers. Oh, wait. I can't see something that hasn't been written. You may THINK you've answered the question, but I can find no evidence of it.

So, please enlighten me OR give me a post number so I can find out HOW a woman is SUPPOSED to do so that she will NOT have to work at all while raising kids....

Of course, keep in mind that most of us are not independently wealthy, LOL!

oh, okay. Only wohms have troubled children. Got it. I never knew that all sahms have PERFECT, non-troubled children....

Do you have to work hard to make this stuff up?

Can someone loan me the helmet?

Oh you know, it's like how it's safe to conclude that brown-eyed mothers create troubled children if a majority of woman are brown-eyed.

"You said that the mother had to be primary care giver because of her superior bond with and love for the child."

I did not say that, but your manipulation of my words doesn't surprise me. Now maybe you could point out where I said a bond between mother and child is superior?

actually that would be a negatory. While i'm here, the nanny is taking care of the dishes from this morning, making Alyssa's bed, straightening the den. She will be there in the afternoon to receive 3 of the 4 children home (although she doesn't need to be there for the 17 year old, LOL!)...and she will supervise homework for the 4th grader, make her read and do math facts. She will also be there to let the TV repairman in on Wed.:) When I get home, I check sd's homework and then start dinner. Tonight after dinner, I am taking the two girls to their community choir practice.

So, again, why should i be home??? especially since my kids are in school all day.
