Militants - are they for real?

Someone on another board posted this link.

It's about Dr. Laura saying that all women should be SAHMs until the child is at least 3 years old.
Whether we're talking about working or staying at home, I can't quite wrap my head around what is going on inside the brains of people that apply the phrase "all women should".
Do you think militants are actually serious, or just trying to get a rise out of others?

Nope, I don't believe that. Do you?

Thank you so much, Eileen!

"what's your point?"
I wasn't making a point to you. You can thread back to get a better understand of what was being discussed, if you wish.
Actually, the $20,000 question is why do we need to make up the time we're away from our children?
"No, that is not correct. It's been asked many times what age of children you were discussing, no answer has been given."
I don't recall that. I do recall discussion of age when discussing Dr. Laura.
"It goes back to your question, how does one long distance mother."
How do they? Good question.
"You agreed about Dr Laura, clearly saying that one can not be a mother and a working mother, quite the double standard there. There are contradictions all over the place, I have clearly pointed them out. shrug."
No, you haven't. Saying and doing are two separate things.
I do like Dr. Laura. That's not saying I agree with everything she says.
No, I don't believe a mother should work once she has children. Dr. Laura does, under certain conditions. No contradictions, just misunderstanding on your part.
"No, as I said before, I don't have an issue with that."
Then, by your logic, you are creating a double standard. How would it be different for my children to be exposed to a working mother? lol I would take that as a learning opportunity.
"No clearly the problem that was being discussed was having more than one child and not being able to be in two places at one time, homeschooling of course would not solve the problem."
No. You clearly stated you had two children in two different schools.
WHY should a mother not work?
