I feel... something negative, but IDK if it's guilt.

i would agree with the second guessing part, the feeling of doubt is sometimes what guilt is.

Careful everyone...wouldn't want anyone thinking this is a warm and fuzzy place.

KIDDING! Granite, Greatful et al, you're right. WHen our kids see us come through a difficult time even stronger, it helps them see that things will always get better as long as you keep going, and have people who love you no matter what.

I am the same way. I have a propensity for guilt. Guilt if I watch TV instead of doing laundry, guilt for giving the kids raw veggies out of sheer laziness, guilt for playing on the computer when I could have been doing something else. Oddly, I have found myself feeling more guilt about things I have less control over than the things that are completely within my control. I feel no guilt about working, but feel guilt when I am sick and unable to play with the kids. If they ask for something we truly can't afford--guilt. They ask for something we can afford but do not want them to have--no guilt.

Raw veggies are healthier. You are not being lazy. You are putting your children's health first. It is all in the spin, darling ;).

That's what makes it so ridiculous. It does not have to come with any actual harm for me to feel guilt. If I had put the raw veggies in front of them for nutritional reasons, I would not feel guilty. It's the fact that my motivation is laziness.
