Erica didn't sleep with us in our bed.

My youngest is 2 1/2 and I can count on one hand the number of times she's slept for a 5 hour stretch. I thought my older one was a bad sleeper...I had NO idea. I've been running on fumes since 2008. lol

I don't my kids sleep through the night now. But, they don't (intentionally) wake *me* up anymore, they just get up, get their drink and/or use the bathroom and go back to bed.

Mine slept 6-8 hours at a stretch by the time she was 8 weeks old. She was gigantic at birth, which may have played a role. So that seemed almost magical. She got me back later. From 12 ms on, she was hell on wheels in the sleep department, and it never completely resolved really.

I had one "gigantic" two big and my oldest was the smallest but by no means small, just my smallest... he decided at 12 months he thought he was done with naps.

Gah! Don't remind me of the naps. Dd screamed before and AFTER. Always screamed for half an hour when she woke up. Good times!

DD was and is pretty good at sleeping through the night once she's asleep, but it's a constant battle now to get her to lay down and actually go to sleep.
