I'm wondering how many of the married moms out there are the main, or maybe only, breadwinners for the family?

I usually only lurk here, but thought I'd answer this one.

I make nearly double what my DH makes. Of course, I have a masters degree, which he doesn't, and a longer work history than him (he took his time finishing college). I WOH at a full time job and have a part time WAH job that I do in the evenings. The fact of me making more money than him has not affected our relationship at all. We each have chores we're responsible for, but they're not quite evenly split. I do more simply because I am pickier about certain things and want them done MY WAY! LOL! Neither of us has a problem with me earning more, and in fact he often jokes that he's a kept man.

I've always earned more than DH but not by a huge amount. The current split is 42% to 58%.
